Welcome

We welcome anyone with an interest in photography whatever their area of interest and expertise. A simple compact camera or the latest DSLR, it doesn’t matter what your level is. We don’t ask you to pay a membership fee for your first couple of visits to us.

We are a small friendly club that meet at 7.30 pm on Friday evenings from September to April at The Friends Meeting House on the corner of Hamlet Road/Stratford Road in Hall Green, Birmingham B28 9BG. At these meetings we have external speakers on a variety of photographic topics, internal competitions and inter-club competitions, critique evenings, practical sessions and presentations from members. We are also affiliated to the PAGB and MCPF.  Additionally, we are an active member of the British Photographic Exhibitions (BPE) organisation and run an annual exhibition that attracts entries from all over the UK. Further details of our exhibition can be found on the Exhibition page.

Once a month (on the second Wednesday) we meet for an informal practical evening. The topics for discussion can include the use of photographic software, mounting of prints, understanding your camera, how to make an audio visual show, and other topics requested by members. There is a small nominal charge for these evenings.
